I wasn't allowed on the plane as I look so different from my passport picture… serves me right for wanting to be cute | The Sun

A WOMAN was left fuming when she wasn't allowed to get on the plane because she looked so different to her passport picture.

Julia posed with a full face of make-up and her brunette hair in shiny curls when she had her passport snap taken.

But when she rocked up for her flight, she was wearing her hair messily piled up on top of her head.

She was also wearing a massive hat, glasses and jacket – with the passport control people insisting it wasn't her in the picture.

"They won't let me on the plane because they said this isn't me," Julia sighed in a video on TikTok.

"Am I ugly? Do I really look that different?

With Julia adding: "They said I don't look like my ID."

"Take off your hat and your jacket," one woman suggested.

"It's meeeee," Julia laughed.

"They're not letting me on the flight. They said this isn't me," she told another lady.

The woman looked intently at the picture before bursting into laughter.

Julia then went up to the passport security section again, with the man on the gate saying: "I mean you do look different, for sure."

"This is why I take my ID/passport pictures without make-up and messy hair cause that's most likely how they'll see me," one person commented on the video.

To which Julia replied: "Yeah… I normally do that but this time I wanted to look cute but obviously wrong idea lol".

"That’s why I didn’t get all done up for my picture," another added.

"Did you get on the flight?" a third asked.

"Hahah, yes!" Julia answered.

Others revealed similar situations they'd found themselves in, with one writing: "Girl this happened to me but at Disneyland… in the pic I had extensions and makeup on… they wanted to cancel my plan for fraud."

"I used my passport from when I was 4”11 95 pounds when I was 6”2 250 pounds," another said.

"Got a lot of questions from tsa."
