A SKINCARE whizz who is in her late 30s has revealed her top anti-ageing secrets. 

Taking to her social media account, Michelle Fairburn told viewers that she’s just two months away from turning 40. 


“It’s true and I’m going to share with you guys the real anti-ageing tips,” she shared. “Because here’s the truth: it doesn’t matter what you put on your face, how much Botox you fill your face with.”

Admitting that she’s had Botox before, she went on to say that it doesn’t matter how much skincare products you buy and use either. 

She went on: “The reality is, these things I’m about to tell you are going to be hard to swallow.” 

Michelle insisted that while it might be difficult to hear, they’re the truth and everyone should know.

The first secret, she said, is to not smoke and “do not do drugs”. 

While everyone is entitled to do whatever they want, she warned that the two habits can help age you at a faster rate.

“I’ve only ever smoked one cigarette in my life,” she said. “It was actually a puff of a cigarette. They were German cigarettes. My best friend at the time was Polish and I think she stole the cigarettes from her grandad.

“And we sat on a swing and I had one puff. I was like, ‘why would anyone ever wanna do that?’”

She went on: “So I’ve never done a drug, mainly out of fear. But I truly have seen friends of the same age as me and they smoked, did drugs and I’m telling you the ageing gods did not bless them.” 

TikTok user @michellefairburn continued on to her second secret, which is to smile more. 

She said: “I don’t mean in the sense of like, ‘oh, you’re a woman, smile, be pretty’. I mean, quite literally, if you are stressed and you’re frowning and you’re just an angry person… 

“I promise you, you’re going to get wrinkles in your forehead.” 

Michelle added that no amount of Botox will change that.

The third secret on her list is to drink plenty of water. 

While you may have heard it many times before, Michelle said that she can see the changes in her skin if she doesn’t drink water for two hours. 

She said: “My pores become weird, my skin just becomes really dull and dry looking.” 

Michelle said she’s been drinking a gallon of water a day and while you don’t need to do the same, you should be aiming for eight glasses a day. 

“This cannot be soda, it cannot be juice, it has to be water,” she said. 

The final secret in her arsenal is to be active, which can be anything from going for a walk to exercising at the gym. 

“Anyways, those are my tips for you, hard tips, pills to swallow, whatever,” she said as the clip ended. 

People were quick to comment as one person said she looks much younger than her age. They said: “I thought you were 27 no cap”. 

Another person shared: “I thought you were 28!! Dang,” followed by a clapping hands emoji, while a third chimed: “40?!?? Ain’t no WAY ! You look 27!. 

Others agreed with many of her points before adding one of their own: “Alcohol is a big one too.”
