I'm a beauty whizz – budget dupes that are better than the high-end versions & the £1.50 Primark bargain everyone needs | The Sun

ANY beauty fan will know that's it's all too easy to fork out hundreds, if not thousands on makeup and skincare products each year.

But according to one beauty whizz named Elle McNamara (AKA Bambi Does Beauty), there are plenty of budget beauty replicas on the market that are just as good, if not better, than the high-end versions.

First up, Elle discusses Revolution face and body gloss in shade ice, which is currently reduced to just £8.

"This is so good…I kind of want to gatekeep it because if you sell it out I'm going to be so mad," she says.

"One of the best highlighters for face and body – iridescent mermaid gloss by Revolution.

"You can see it's very well loved."

"Sanctuary Spa do the best scrubs," Elle says.

"It literally smells like a beach in a tub.

"It's the perfect ratio of grit to oils."

The beauty pro then goes on to show off what she refers to as "one of the best budget beauty buys like ever" – Body Shop cleansing balm.

"It's so good at removing makeup," she enthuses.

"It's really good for sensitive skin and also you can use it round your eyes."

Not stopping there, Elle notes how she recommends Nip and Fab – especially the brand's serums – to everyone.

Another budget brand that she's a fan of is Elf.

Holding up the 'jelly pop glow stick,' which costs £8, Elle continues: "This is the first ever product I bought from Elf and I was shooketh!

"Their glow stick…it gives this iridescent, non-glittery, beautiful glow.

"If you put this in different packaging, this would sell for 10 times the price, it's that good."

Finally, she urges beauty fans to run to Primark to nab what she believes are the best value rollers on the market.

"These are £1.50 from Primark and I'll tell you, I have bought ones from really expensive department stores that are the same.

"They're a pack of eight and they're the perfect size because they give you quite a tight curl but when you brush it out, it just gives so much more volume.

"Stock up – that's all I'm saying!"

The video has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 169k views and several comments from beauty fans up and down the country.

"The body shop cleansing balm is the only thing I can get benefits 'they're real' mascara off with, and it gets makeup out of clothes too," wrote one.
