“Every year I make myself a Christmas Cleaning Basket and fill it with my favourite products and seasonal scents and it motivates me to freshen up the house.
“Put on your favourite Christmas songs, and let’s get cleaning!
“Disinfectants and all-purpose cleaners are now available in so many different festive fragrances like winter spice, pine or cinnamon so I dilute them in a bucket of warm water and get to work wiping down everything from top to bottom in each room.

The cleaning whizz advised: “Stock up on dishwasher tablets (even if you don’t have a dishwasher!) as they are brilliant for removing grease from pots and pans, your oven racks and keeping your plugholes fresh.
“If you’re struggling with limescale in your toilet, then you can even pop a dishwasher tablet in and let it dissolve, then scrub using your toilet brush, then flush when you are finished to leave it sparkling clean.
“Buy a big bottle of washing-up liquid as it can be used for more than just cleaning the endless dirty dishes; it is brilliant for scrubbing sinks and even banishing soap scum in the bathroom.
“White vinegar is essential and I always buy it in bulk. It is fantastic for giving a sparkling shine to mirrors and windows, but it is also brilliant for removing water marks and limescale.”

Not only this, but Laura shared her simple but effective ‘3-in-1’ methods to ensure that your home is guest-ready.
Laura has two very simple 3-in-1 methods that she swears by.
Her first method, the 3-in-1 with White Vinegar can get your home sparkling for just 29p.
Laura explained: "White vinegar is a fantastic natural cleaning product that is great value and can be used to clean and neutralise odours throughout your home.
“Here are three ways I use it for sparkling results – beat limescale in your bathroom – brilliant for removing stubborn water marks on your shower screen and taps.
“Fluff up fleece blankets and throws – use a cupful in your washing machine instead of fabric softener.
“Degrease your dishwasher – pop a bowlful on the top shelf of your dishwasher to freshen it up and get rid of greasy grime.”
Finally, Laura’s second 3-in-1 method involves using washing-up liquid to get your home clean.
She calls it the “washing up wonder” as she advised: “Did you know, you can clean your whole home with washing-up liquid?
“WIPE – To remove grease & grime.
“RINSE – To remove scum in the kitchen and bathroom.
