A CLEANING whizz has shared her simple homemade grease-killing solution which will leave your kitchen glowing.

So if the grease on your worktops won’t budge and you don’t have hours of free time to spend scrubbing, you’ve come to the right place. 



Chantel Mila took to social media to share her simple solution to get your kitchen smelling and looking fresh and best of all, it’s super cheap and easy.

So don’t worry, you won’t need to go to the shops and spend loads of cash on expensive cleaning products.

Thanks to this simple hack, you can remove the grease from your kitchen for just 42p. 

Posting online, Chantel shared her quick tip to “leave your kitchen grease-free and shining.”

She advised: “Mix 1/2 cup warm water, 1/4 cup white vinegar and 1/4 cup lemon juice.”

Once mixed together in a spray bottle, she then sprayed the solution on her kitchen surfaces, before wiping the areas clean with a cloth.

Chantel later added: “The vinegar and lemon helps cut through grease on your stovetop, splashback and cabinetry.

“This acidic mix is powerful at cutting through tough grime and leaves your kitchen shiny and deodorised.

She also confirmed: “Always patch test as this mix may not be suitable for all surfaces.”

Also from Tesco, you can nab a bag of four lemons for just 55p, costing you just 13p per lemon.

For just 42p altogether, we think this hack is extremely affordable and very effective. 

Chantel’s TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @mama_mila_, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed 1.6 million views. 

Social media users were stunned at the hack and were thankful to Chantel for sharing it, which many took to the comments to express.
