I'm a DIY fan and love tricking people – the 10 things in my house which are way less posh than you’d realise | The Sun

A DIY fan has shared 10 clever, easy ways she made her house look expensive, without shelling out loads of cash.

Victoria, who admits she learns as she goes, recently revealed that her house has "tricked" people on numerous occasions.

She kicked off the video on her This English Home TikTok page by showing the "tiles" in her cloakroom – an effect she'd actually created using paint and a stencil.

The "marble" in her bathroom is actually shower panels, from Shower Wall UK in the Bianco Carrara design.

Her kitchen worktops might look as though they're wooden, but they've actually been covered with architectural vinyl.

And Victoria's tricks even continue on the outside of her house.
