IT’S almost that time of the year when supermarket shelves will be stacked full of Christmas sandwiches and treats.
Foodies are already getting mega excited and counting down the days, especially after Marks & Spencer offered a glimpse of their festive offering for 2022 – and it could be their best yet.
TikTok star @emshelx gave her followers a behind-the-scenes look at the supermarket’s Christmas treats when she attended a special preview day alongside a friend.
In a teaser video, @emshelx took her 98,000 followers through each department as she showed what they had to look forward to.
And the popular store has really pulled the stops out, with Colin the Caterpillar festive cakes, Percy Pig slushies and a new product that she says is the tastiest yet.
@emshelx told her followers: “My friend took me along to the M&S Christmas press day. Here is what you can get.”

Her food tour began with the Percy Pig slushie, which was previously announced to be a combination of apple, raspberry and grape juice, churned until frozen, and available in seven stores around the country.
Next, she showed off their savoury selection, starting with Reindeer Bao Buns, which are filled with hoisin vegetables. She said: “They’re too cute to eat, but I still ate one.”
Elsewhere, your Christmas Day starter is all sorted thanks to their delicious Camembert Garlic Bread, which she described as “insane”.
@emshelx also shared how M&S had invested in their ‘picky tea’ selection, including mini bacon, brie and cranberry sandwiches.

Moving on to the sweet treats that will be on offer for customers, the social media user began by introducing her followers to 2022’s festive edition of Colin the Caterpillar, which has a little blue hat and is available in large or small.
There was also a show stopping white chocolate helter skelter cake, Christmas tree donuts, a festive chocolate popcorn wreath and Santa and gingerbread men chocolates.
There’s also lots more Percy Pig products from biscuit tins to sweet boxes, as well as a ‘Dachshund Through The Snow’ advent calendar.
While @emshelx highlighted M&S’ chocolate cup pies as this Christmas’ hero product, saying that they were the “best thing” she tasted all day.
