A GYPSY girl has revealed the annoying questions she keeps receiving now she has turned 20.

Romylee Doherty, from the UK, shared that she was fed up with people constantly asking her when she was going to get married now she's no longer a teen.

In a recent TikTok video, the young woman shared her point of view of just turning 20 in the gypsy community.

Romylee then went on to list the annoying questions she keeps getting asked by people within her community.

She revealed that the older people are constantly waiting to find out when she'll tie the knot.

"So, when are you getting married?" they enquire.

While dads are constantly trying to set Romylee up with someone in their family.

"My nephew is the same age as you, you'd make a handsome couple," they tell Romylee.

She revealed that many women in her community are concerned Romylee will end up being alone forever.

They ask her: "Are you not worried you are going to be left on the shelf my girl?"

Other people love to remind Romylee that they were married with children at her age and wonder when she will follow suit.

But it seems Romylee wasn't impressed with the interrogations as she captioned the post: "The joys of being gypsy girl," sarcastically.

The video has since gone viral with over 920,000 views and 38k likes.

People quickly took to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.

One wrote: "So much pressure."

Another person commented: "I'd rather be on the shelf than in the wrong cupboard."

"That's so upsetting to hear," penned a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Does the pressure ever get to you or is it more informal than that? I can’t imagine the stress you must be under dealing with that at 20."
