I’m a hot policewoman – my uniform’s unflattering but I still look good, it’s all about my hair and makeup | The Sun

A POLICEWOMAN has revealed how she became the hottest cop on the beat despite having to wear an unflattering uniform.

Bella Lexi, 47, was a cop for more than 25 years until she quit in 2021.

The ex-lieutenant, who worked in Colorado, was constantly flirted with by colleagues and suspects and loved the attention.

But she reckons she got all the focus because she took pride in her appearance.

She says: “I wore makeup to work everyday and always had my hair within policy but on point, dry cleaned and starched uniforms and polished boots and leather.

“One thing they teach in the Academy and training is that professional presence can take you a long way in dealing with people so I wanted to appear put together and very serious about my role.

“The women I worked with on a regular basis would joke that I needed a black leather basket weave pouch for my powder and lip gloss on my belt so it could have it within reach at all times.

“I worked the majority of my career on afternoon shift or night shift and rarely wore my uniform to and from work so I would come in dressed in my everyday street clothes which would include tank tops, shorts, and short skirts and wedges in the summer and sweaters and leggings or jeans in the winter.

“I would get looks on my way in but I never changed who I was outside of work when I would go to work.

“I have always cared about my appearance.”

Bella previously revealed she was so hot that suspects would flirt with her all the time.

She said: “When I was a line deputy I did have my partners and officers from other agencies flirt with me.

“I would take it as flirting and joke back with my coworkers and I did date cops from other agencies, not my own.

“As a Sergeant and Lieutenant I never flirted with my staff.

“I could tell sometimes officers were flirting with me but I never fed into it or entertained it, I kept that line very clear.

“Suspects, citizens, and inmates flirted with me all the time.

“They would call me honey, baby, sweetie, darlin' you name it.

"I would always correct them that the only respectful things to call me were ma'am, deputy, sergeant or lieutenant depending on the position I held at the time.

“Citizens would joke and flirt with me quite often and I took it in stride.”
