WE'RE all hoping to cut back on our energy bills as winter comes creeping closer.
For many it will be difficult, but one money-saving mum has revealed how she got her bill down by £50 and explained how.
Mum-of-two, Heidi Ondrak, 51, from Devon, UK, revealed the six ways she managed to cut her energy bill back on TikTok.
During April her electric bill was £123.95 on average a month, but now Heidi has got it down to £72.72.
She revealed that one of the first changes she made was changing the appliances she used.
The mum revealed she never uses the oven anymore, and in previous videos stated she preferred to use her air fryer to cook as it costs cheaper to run.

She added that she uses her hob sparingly and won't cook meals that take a long time to cook on the hob.
"I've also stopped using the tumble dryer completely," she added.
Heidi has also made some smaller changes that have made a big difference such as having less lights on in the house and turning off plug sockets.
Another switch Heidi has made is by bringing in solar lights from her garden into the home during the evenings.

She explained that there is also now a curfew in the house for her children so that nobody is using unnecessary electric during the night time.
Heidi has also made a bid to use her washing machine less and uses a spray and wear spray on clothes that are lightly used to skip the washing machine.
On top of that, Heidi has been putting bigger loads in the machine and putting them on for shorter, cooler washes.
Viewers were stunned by the savings and many praised the mum for cutting her bills back.
