A PLUS-SIZE woman has shared a bold and budget-friendly message by recreating a Popular Pinterest look with Aerie items.
The woman took it upon herself to shatter bodily expectations and recreate an online photo of a smaller size woman in a trendy outfit on her size 14 frame.
Self-described curvy queen Lindsey Pressley, known on TikTok as @lindseyjpressley, challenges bodily expectations by putting her own spin on a popular comfy outfit.
In a TikTok video, the size 14 woman recreates a lounge look from a smaller size woman using pieces from Aerie, a subdivision of the clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch.
Aerie is known for its size-inclusive garments, as well as its lack of photo retouching and overall body-positive message.
Pressley showcases the idea that women can wear whatever they feel comfortable in, no matter their size or body shape.

The video begins with a still image of the young woman that Pressley says she took from Pinterest.
The outfit is simple and edgy with the model wearing a white T-shirt, high-waisted light wash denim shorts, an oversized khaki shirt jacket, and white high-top All-Star converse sneakers.
Pressley then carefully selects simple articles of clothing from the fashion company that resemble the Pinterest outfit well.
One-by-one she shows viewers each individual clothing item before giving them a look at the style in its entirety.

She first displays the Aerie White Tank top and then the corresponding medium-wash denim ripped shorts she's pairing with it.
The next garment she exhibits is the slightly distressedAerie Pool-To-Party Cover Up, $37.46, in a khaki color, followed by pink high-top All-Star Converse and brown sunglasses.
She pairs the ensemble with a black cross-body purse and gold jewelry.
Before the video comes to a close, the visual of the fashionable content then shifts to show Pressley confidently posing in front of the camera.
The digital creator's video resonated with many of her viewers with many voicing their approval and appreciation in the comment section of the video.
