THEY always choose to wear heels at formal occasions, such as Queen Elizabeth II's funeral on Monday.
But just how do Kate, the Princess of Wales, and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, stay comfy in their vertiginous shoes?
According to style expert Miranda Holder, they always get shoes that are slightly too large.
Miranda took to TikTok to explain, saying: "The surprising fashion hack Kate and Meghan both use to stay comfortable in their high heels all day long.
"Both Kate and Meghan are fans of the leg-lengthening high heels for formal occasions, but how do they manage to stay comfortable all day?
"Both ladies choose to wear heels that are often half to one size too large for them."

It's not just royals that use the hack either – Miranda added that it's a popular trick used by celebrities and their stylists, particularly before red carpet events "to avoid the dreaded blisters".
People in the comments section of Miranda's video quickly asked the style pro about the hack, with one writing: "How do they keep them from turning into flip-flops?"
"They put silicone pads inside and sometimes sticky tape," Miranda replied.
"But when I try to walk, they always fall off the heel… so what’s the solution?" another wrote.
