AN interior designer has lifted the lid on the biggest trends for Autumn and beyond.

Liz Lovery, who offers home decor and style tips on her TikTok account @lizlovery, said there are lots of new things coming through, as we wave goodbye to old trends like all grey decor.

Liz went through the top three things she’d spotted and what we should all be looking out for in the months to come.

She revealed: “First up is the use of the colour brown. I am seeing it EVERYWHERE in interior design on walls and furniture.

“I’m also seeing a resurgence in cabinetry and accent pieces, as opposed to light wood that we’ve been seeing a lot of over the last few years.

“I’m also seeing this trend pop up a lot more in catalogues from major designers, like Restoration Hardware.”

Liz then moved onto her second point of something that we might want to invest in in the near future.

The design expert continued: “Number two is furniture and accent pieces that use textured fabrics – especially with boucle, velvet and sherpa.

“I think this trend is actually perfect for fall because it brings all the cosy vibes.

“If you want to bring this trend into your home without fully buying a new piece of furniture, you can add pillows, blankets or covers with these textures to your existing furniture.
