I'm Olivia Rodrigo & Rachel Zegler's hair stylist – my fave dupes, including the most slept-on drug store product | The Sun

A HAIRSTYLIST to the stars has shared his insider secrets with his followers.

While he works with some of the biggest names in show business, the hair pro still has some budget-friendly tips.

In his video, Clayton Hawkins (@itsclaytonhawkins) revealed the cheap alternatives he uses to pricey haircare products.

The TikToker, who has worked with everyone from Olivia Rodrigo to Hunger Games star Rachel Zegler, explained why he loves each item.

"Here are my biggest dupes for expensive hair products, I get sent everything, I’ve tried it all, and here are my honest opinions," he said.

For his first recommendation, Clayton advised his followers to invest in the $36 Living Proof Dry Volume and Texture Spray from Amazon.

"Not dirt cheap but this thing is amazing, if you have flat wimpy hair this is going to give you so much hold, so much volume, so much texture," he told his viewers.

He suggested using the product in place of the $49 Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.

For his next product pick, Clayton showed his audience the $10 Dove Brilliant Gloss and Repair Serum and Oil, which he called "the most slept-on hair product at your drugstore."

"This thing works like a dream, I use this on all of my clients when their hair is damp, and when their hair is dry, it’s buildable," he said.

"This smells like a very expensive product," Clayton added, revealing that he had several bottles stockpiled in case it is ever discontinued.

He recommended substituting the product for the $52 Augustinus Bader Hair Oil, available at Saks.

Finally, Clayton advised his audience to purchase the $23 Sexy Hair Healthy Moisturizing Peach Mask.

According to the pro, the product "works just as well and actually smells better" than the $67 Masque à l'Orchidée Softening Hair Mask from Leonor Greyl.

"Plus you get twice as much product and it leaves your hair so soft," he added.

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the advice.

"This was very helpful! Do more please!" wrote one impressed follower.

"Thank you for information. It is so helpful," commented another viewer.

"I totally agree with all the dupes! Especially the texture spray. I love Oribe but the Living Proof is amazing too!" said a third person.
