Inside the motorhome that's a ‘five-star hotel on wheels’ & once home to a F1 champ – but it'll cost you £8k per night | The Sun

FANCY exploring the picturesque views of the UK but don't want to spend nights freezing in a tent? How about this luxe motorhome once home to a well-known F1 champ?

The extravagant vehicle, described as a ''five-star hotel on wheels'', can be yours to enjoy… for an eye-watering starting price of £4k a night.

The vehicle that's owned by Andrew Morris is said to be ''the largest and the most bizarre motorhome in the United Kingdom''.

According to Channel 5's new programme, Million Pound Motorhomes, the project was originally built for the former Formula One champion Jacques Villeneuve and then became home to another sports star, Jenson Button.

And when it comes to ensuring the maximum level of comfort and luxurious lifestyle, it seems the artists behind this certainly went all out for the celebrities.

''These people are born winners – they liked to be pampered, looked after,'' said Andrew.

The lavish interior, the show revealed, is partially thanks to its first owner's Jacque's then-girlfriend, Dannii Minogue.

Inside the vehicle, that according to Daily Mail can set you back by a whopping £8k a night, the luxe motorhome boasts granite flooring and even underfloor heating.

Right by the entrance of the bus, which is believed to be 500sq ft in size, sits Jenson's favourite lounge chair, where he liked to relax.

As well as having drapes that are electronically controlled, the palace, dubbed the ''Icon'', also comes with one-off kitchen equipment and homeware designed specifically for the motorhome.

Foodies will also be delighted to learn that the posh bus has a massive American-style fridge – filled with chilled champagne, of course.

Moving to the bedroom, which even has a walk-in wardrobe for all the fashionistas out there, the posh home has a mirror ceiling.

''Obviously, a lot of thought gone into this,'' chuckled Andrew.

Admiring the bed that was made with plush velvet and a cosy-looking duvet, the owner said: ''It's absolutely glorious.

''It's just a lovely, lovely piece of art on wheels.''

If you're ready to fork out the massive sum for the bus, expect to be treated like a royalty, greeted with champagne, as well a complementary hamper on arrival.

Meanwhile, a personal team of waiters will also be available on hand 24 hours a day – as will a Michelin star chef ready to please your taste buds with the most exquisite of meals.

The best part of this stay? It's up to you where you want to be.

''We do have preferential privileged locations both in the UK and throughout Europe but we're more than happy to drive the Icon to the location of your choice.''
