As a member of the Royal Family, Kate, Princess of Wales owns an enviable jewellery collection. And one item she is rarely seen without is her iconic sapphire ring she received from Prince William.
Kate’s engagement ring
Kate, Princess of Wales owns one of the most recognisable engagement rings ever, and it famously belonged to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.
Featuring an oval 12-carat royal blue sapphire surrounded by a halo of diamonds, Kate is rarely pictured without her stunning ring.
Kate also always wears her Welsh gold wedding band alongside her sapphire sparkler.
And after Prince George was born in 2013, Kate was pictured wearing a thin diamond eternity band thought to symbolise her and William becoming parents.
Collingwood pearl earrings
Like the late Queen and Princess Diana, Kate is a huge fan of pearl jewellery.
For casual outings and formal events, Kate is often spotted wearing the Collingwood pearl earrings Diana was reportedly gifted before her 1981 wedding.

Lover’s Knot Tiara
Kate has worn the Lover’s Knot more frequently than any other royal tiara, and it was a firm favourite of Princess Diana’s.
Created for Queen Mary, the Lover’s Knot Tiara features several loops with suspended pearls and it is adorned with diamonds for a touch of extra sparkle.
The Lover’s Knot Tiara was inspired by the 19th Century Cambridge Lover’s Knot Tiara made for Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, the wife of Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge.
Sapphire earrings
Kate has an impressive selection of sapphire jewellery to match her magnificent engagement ring, and she appears to have a favourite sapphire earring set.
Faceted sapphires sit centrally surrounded by diamonds, creating a floral pattern.
Kate also has a matching sapphire and diamond necklace that she has been pictured wearing on several occasions in the past.
Pearl drops on gold hoops
The Princess of Wales usually wears her Annoushka pearl drops as an everyday earring with a touch of lustre.
Kate also owns other dainty pearl earring sets, including a baroque pearl pair she usually wears to Wimbledon.
