COMING up with new ways to keep your kids entertained can be a tough job. 

Luckily one savvy parent has shared a ‘genius’ way to add some excitement to playtime – and all you’ll need is an old reusable shopping bag. 

Instagram account @babeycorner, regularly shares parenting tips with its 176,000 followers. 

In a recent video they shared, they show how a parent turned an old reusable shopping bag into an indoor swing for their toddler. 

“Creative parenting hack – 2 chairs, 1 cushion and 1 shopping bag. Homemade swing. 

“Parenting requires love, time and creativity. Get inspired by your surroundings and have fun with your kids.

During the reel, a baby is seen sitting inside a reusable shopping bag, which is swinging forwards and backwards while hanging by the backs of two dining chairs. 

It also has both corners cut out the front to make space for the child’s legs and feet.

Fans loved the crafty hack, with the video gaining more than 188,000 likes.

Another mum has shared a quick and easy recipe for making your own snow, which is perfect for playtime. 

Gina, known online as @aplayfilledlife, shows parents how combining baking soda and hair conditioner will result in your own faux snow. 

Her followers loved the savvy idea, with one writing: “So cool!!! It doesn’t snow where we live, so definitely saving this recipe!”
