Mums race to Asda to get their hands on £5 school shoes that will last their kids ALL YEAR, but they'll have to be quick | The Sun

ANY parent knows how hard it is to find a pair of kids' school shoes that will last an entire year.

Even if you spend loads on them, they always seem to fall apart aftera few months.

But one mum claims to have found a pair that last an entire year and, better yet, they're cheap as chips.

Chlo took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her bargain buy, as she wrote: "Asda glasshouton!

"School shoes scanning through at a fraction of the price! These flash also.

"I got a £5 pair which was priced at £5, and then the ones that scanned at £6 was tagged at £15!!"

"Very impressed."

"That’s good, my daughter falls over all the time so hers probably won’t," Chloe replied.

Chlo also added in her post that she's been "made aware" that the reduction could be down to the fact she got the shoes in a size 9, and other sizes might still be full price.

The shoes are no longer available on the Asda website, but there are similar ones for £16.

In a review of those ones on the Asda website, one impressed mum wrote: "My daughter loves them and says that they are very comfortable.

"She is usually fussy with shoes but no complaints. They are beautiful and smart.

"My daughter loves the fact that they light up. Good value for money.

"Would definitely recommend!"

While another added: "My daughter loves these shoes. They’re fun with the led lights but have lasted better than most as built well."
