A WOMAN with a glorious mane of raven hair has said it wasn't always this good.

She said she despaired when her locks started falling out in clumps.

The result of this distressing experience was bald spots.

Her quest to find a product that addressed her hair loss led her to an oil and shampoo combination from Amazon for $19.

She said this treatment has been mercifully transformative.

Over four months, her hair was restored and she has never looked back and neither has her mane.

Today, Maria's (@maria.geeeeee) hair is a luxurious testament to her hair care.

It is long, thick, glossy, and there is plenty of it.

But when it started to fall out, it was not a good day.

In her post, she explained what happened and how she addressed it.

“Girls if you are experiencing hair loss like I was, this is my hair now."

To demonstrate, she showed how her hair looked just a few months before, and it was a very different picture.

“It took me about four to six months to completely transform my hair," she said.

Before this, it was a very distressing time: "My hair was literally falling out in clumps," she said.

But change was afoot when she discovered a product: “I used the Bergamot shampoo and oil," she explained.

She couldn't put too fine a point on it, saying this stuff worked.

Bergamot contains fatty acids. These can  stimulate blood flow to the scalp, increasing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles.

There is evidence that this leads to stronger and healthier hair growth.
