My surgeon talked me into a major tummy tuck surgery & now I'm botched…my belly looks worse & my belly button’s vanished | The Sun

A WOMAN has revealed that after losing over 14 stone, she went under the knife to remove her loose skin.

But Victoria Michaels got more than she bargained for, when her surgeon talked her into a major surgery.

Sharing her story on social media, Victoria explained that her surgeon told her to get a vertical and horizontal incision, rather than just a standard panniculectomy.

And although Victoria was told she would have a flat stomach after the surgery, she has been left with a botched belly.

Posting on TikTok under the username @nulleigh, the mother and eyelash artist explained that the surgeon also gave her a belly button relocation, but now Victoria is unimpressed with how that looks too.

In a recent clip, she said: “I've lost almost 200lbs and four months ago I had skin removal surgery.

“I trusted a surgeon who told me that I would be flat. As you can see, I'm not.

“I was originally just gonna do a panniculectomy, which is the apron of overhang.

“But they talked me into doing the vertical and horizontal incision.

“I was told I was going to have a tummy tuck, this is what I've been left with.

“What even is my belly button? It's awful.”

She then added: “It has taken a lot to do this, but I'm finally ready to share my story.

“On 11/23/22 after losing almost 200lbs I trusted a REPUTABLE surgeon who convinced me to get the FDL add on to a panniculectomy which would make it a “fleur de lis tummy tuck”.

“She also offered a “belly button relocation” and “pubic lift” complimentary.

“I TRUSTED her. Once I woke up from surgery I immediately knew that something was wrong.

“This surgeon admitted to prematurely removing a drain which caused a wound vac placement, followed by wet to dry changes of two GAPING holes in my body (while she left me and took off to California for the holidays), did not properly manage my medical care, who’s office sent me home several times and I have to bring myself to the hospital by ambulance, told me I’m her “most challenging patients” because I stood up for myself, promised me a revision and now is trying to CHARGE me for one and who has done NOTHING to fix this disaster.”

In Victoria’s clip, she wore a pair of black cycling shorts, as she pulled them down to show off her stomach and scars.

Victoria’s video has clearly left many stunned, as in just four days, it has quickly gone viral and has amassed a whopping 1.7million views.

It has 113.9k likes, 1,685 comments and 1,800 shares.

TikTok users were left open-mouthed at Victoria’s surgery results and were quick to reflect this in the comments.

One person said: “I’m a NP for a plastic surgeon, we do these all the time. You were robbed honey. I’m so sorry. You're gorgeous and you worked so hard to get here.”

Another added: “Wow I’m so sorry this happened to you!”

A third commented: “I work in surgery and have for 15 yrs including plastics. I personally think that result is awful. You are very beautiful though. I hate this for you.”

Meanwhile, many other social media users were in such shock at Victoria’s result and were quick to encourage her to go on the television show Botched, dealing with people’s bad surgeries.

One user asked: “Ever thought about reaching out to the tv show “Botched”? Idk if they’re still airing or taking new submissions, but it’s worth a try!”
