WE ALL know about America, but people are only just realising the mad reason it has it's name and it's all to do with a pickle dealer.
One foodie, who has a particular fondness of pickles, has revealed how one of her top favourite foods is behind the country's name.
Claire took to social media to share the bizarre story which involved a pickle dealer named Amerigo Vespucci.
"America is named after a pickle dealer," she began.
