A MUM has hit back at trolls criticising her for her son's unique name, insisting people should be more bothered about stopping their kids from being bullies.

Liana took to TikTok to respond to one person, who commented on a previous video: "I forgot you named him Koazy."


"I will address this once, and once only," Liana said in her video.

"I don’t understand why there’s a need to be nasty.

"If you don’t like the name, that is fair enough.

"He’s not your baby. You don’t have to name your child that name.

"There is a lot of baby names that I personally don’t like but if I see a mother with a baby that has a name that I don’t like I’m not going to comment, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe you called them that’."

She added that people should be more concerned about "not raising bullies".

"If you’re the type of person that’ll tell me, ‘Oh, well with a name like that he’s going to get bullied in the future’, but why should I have to worry about him getting bullied for his name?" she continued.

"We should be worrying about not raising bullies. And I know it can’t always be helped. But…

Liana also said that the rise in the popularity of unique names means that Koazy won't be the only one to stand out because of his moniker.

"And he’s not the only Koazy in the world," she concluded.

People were quick to take to the comments section to praise Liana for standing up against the trolls, with one writing: "My name is Xanthe and I've never ever been bullied in my life.

"Koazy is an adorable name."

"it's her child why do people feel the need to judge," another added.

While a third commented: "I mean there's a million boring names that people still turn into bullying.

"Might as well make them unique. I love the name."
