Mum shares 'genius' way she dries her washing outside to avoid mould – but people are all saying the same thing | The Sun

WITH electricity prices higher than ever, we’re all looking for cheap ways to keep warm and dry our clothes.

Luckily one savvy mum has shared her easy hack – and it won’t take up any space inside either.

Anita, known online as @_anita__d, regularly shares lifestyle content with her 8,100 followers.

In her latest video, the thrifty mum suggests her followers dry their washing outside – inside a greenhouse.

“Let’s see if the hack works.”

During the nine-second video, the savvy mum is seen putting her washing on an airer, and then placing it inside a greenhouse, sitting on her lawn outside.

This is to stop it from getting wet while outside, but also to avoid dampness and mould inside her home.

Similar greenhouses are available from multiple retailers, including Wayfair, with prices starting at £25.99.

The video caught people’s attention, gaining more than 84,000 views.

But in the comments, Anita’s followers pointed out a major flaw with the idea, with one writing: “They lack ventilation. I’ve tried drying in my greenhouse and it just doesn’t work outside of summer.”
