Queen Letizia matches with her daughters in £102 shoes loved by royal women

Queen Letizia of Spain looked radiant in a bright pink dress during her stay in Palma, where she was pictured with her husband, and two daughters, Princess Leonor, 17 and and Sofía, 16.

The Adolfo Dominguez gown was a new style for the royal, who looked equal parts casual and glamorous in the sleeveless number.

Cut with a midi hemline and cinched in at the waist with a rustic rope belt, the simplistic design perfectly complemented the 50-year-old’s toned figure.

Letizia teamed the fuschia pink dress with a chic tote bag made from palm leaf by Audali, and a pair of trendy flat espadrilles by Espardenyes Torres, 120 euros (£102).

While they each wore different colours, the Spanish Queen’s daughters looked equally stunning in vibrant dresses and matching wedged espadrilles.

The royal was joined by her husband, King Felipe VI and her two daughters with whom she had co-ordinated her trendy shoes.

Pictured in the enchanting Alfabia Gardens located in Sierra de Tramuntana, the family were pictured arm-in-arm while donning their summer attire.

Leonor, Princess of Asturias donned a leaf green linen-blend dress by Mango, complete with button detailing and fluted cap sleeves.

In keeping with her mother’s style, the 17-year-old teamed the flattering dress with her Mint & Rose Sardinia Espadrille Wedges in White, 125 euros (£107).

The youngest of the family, Sofia opted for a colourful Ba&Sh Fedora Dress in Ecru, which she styled with her black and linen blend Macarena Java34 Wedges, 74.90 euros (£64.13).

While all three wore slightly different styles of the classic summer shoe, they each have a wardrobe full of different kinds of espadrilles.

Queen Letizia in particular has an extensive collection of flat and wedged varities which she frequently rotates depending on the occasion.

The lightweight linen fabric and neutral tones make them the perfect warm-weather style and they are even loved by British royals including Princess Kate, Duchess Sophie and Zara Tindall.

When it comes to the Spanish Royal Family, however, it’s not the first time they have stepped out wearing almost identical versions of the traditional handmade shoes.

Last August, the Queen and her daughters stepped out for a late Sunday dinner with mother-in-law, Queen Sofia.

The royal women looked brilliant in bold patterned dresses and matching lace-up espadrille wedges.

As their go-to style regal style for almost every summer occasion, In Style magazine has since deemed the linen espadrilles the “unofficial shoe of royalty”.
