    Coronation Street fans have rushed to social media to discuss the warning message issued minutes before the episode aired on ITV1.

    Viewers watching Monday's (July 24) episode were warned about "upsetting scenes" and "difficult conversations" by a voiceover.

    Those watching at home took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the announcement.

    Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "More upsetting scenes and conversations. Do we watch this for fun? We used to."

    Another added: "Hold on tight for difficult conversations #Corrie"

    A third person posted: "Difficult and upsetting scenes….oh dear."

    While a fourth social media user said: "Difficult convos, upsetting scene = hilarious tweets #Corrie"

    "There’s too many warnings nowadays, what happened to the good old days," someone else said.

    Over in Weatherfield, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) found himself sitting next to Shelly from the MND support group.

    Paul was impressed by her positive attitude as she urged him to take control of his life and if there was something he’s always dreamt of doing, then do it now.

    He told his partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brockebank) how Shelly’s helped him to see things more clearly and he had something important to ask him.

    Billy excitedly told Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) he was expecting a marriage proposal but Paul instead asked Billy if he’d help him end his life. when the time came.

    Also, Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) and Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) were caught in the act by Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).

    As married Courtney came downstairs half-dressed, she bumped into Amy.

    A topless Aadi came running down the stairs and admitted that he had no excuse.
