Angela explained that the plants were looking slightly tired, and so she has planted them in her garden to bring them back to life.

She added: “Hydrangeas looking a bit sorry for themselves but they are resilient so have been planted in the garden, in lovely glazed jugs.”

Angela shared two pictures in her social media post – one image showing off her two new plants – two hydrangea plants placed in two beautiful jugs.

The other image was Angela’s receipt – confirming that she bought the hydrangea jugs for just 1p each from a Sainsbury’s store in Holborn, London.
