SHOPPERS have been raising about a bargain £7 product for helping them banish scars and stretchmarks.
Bio-Oil is causing a stir on social media – and dermatologists have raved about its benefits too.
The affordable product, according to the manufacturers, is said to “reduce the possibility of stretch marks forming during pregnancy, teenage growth spurts and periods of rapid weight gain, and helps improve the appearance of existing stretch marks."
It is also said to help with acne scars, ageing or dehydrated skin.
Many women have created videos praising Bio-Oil and claiming it’s helped them transform their skin.
TikTok user Emily Ball uploaded a clip sharing “before” and “after” using the product on her face.

She claimed it helped her with “acne, acne scars and stretch marks” and wrote: “Absolutely love.
“Changed my life forever.”
She advised using it twice a day and leaving on for up to 30 minutes before washing off.
Meanwhile user @shortaprons showed the results after applying Bio-Oil to her legs to help with insect bite scars.

She claimed to have applied it twice a day for three months before she saw results, and used the “mind-blown” emoji to depict her reaction.
But what do the experts say?
Dermatologist Dr. Marie V. Hayag raved about the product’s ingredients being soybean oil, which is rich in several different fatty acids.
She told Byrdie: "The oils all work in conjunction to effectively moisturise the skin and reduce inflammation.
“It also has tocopheryl acetate, a form of vitamin E, which is a great antioxidant and protects the skin from ageing and damage by free radicals.”
She also said it contains sunflower oil, "which is a great ingredient for the skin.”
The skincare pro added: "It acts as an emollient and makes skin feel soft and smooth, and it’s even been shown to enhance recovery from damage to the skin barrier."
In a study, 83 per cent of volunteers said they thought Bio-Oil had an impact on their scars or stretch marks.
