HOME BARGAINS is known for its discount buys and a savvy shopper has highlighted some amazing offerings from The Ordinary currently on sale.

The retailer often has some of Brits’ favourite brands on sale at a fraction of their usual cost.


Home Bargains’ amazing deals also extend to make-up, beauty and more.

One eagle-eyed shopper has spotted one of the most popular UK beauty names on sale for a fraction of its usual cost.

A woman posted her great find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.

She showed off her new The Ordinary 100% Niacinamide Powder which usually retails for £5.70.

But she managed to get it for under £1 in the discount store. 

Sharing a photo of the product, she wrote: “99p in Home Bargains

“What water based product does everyone use to mix the powder with please?”

Recommendations included micellar water, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c spray and rose water. 

On The Ordinary’s website, it says: “Niacinamide is readily water-soluble and dissolves in water-based products, such as serums and creams, with ease.

“The Ordinary’s 100% Niacinamide Powder can be mixed into any non-conflicting, water-based treatment, provided that the pH of the base is between 5.1 and 7.0.”

To use, they say: “Mix a quarter scoop of the spoon provided with a water-based treatment in the palm of your hand and apply it to the face in the morning and/or evening.”

You should contact with eyes while using the product and wash your hands after using. 

The Facebook group gives seasoned discount finders a place to put their best finds across the high street and online and share with other bargain hunters. 

Home Bargains has been getting a lot of love recently for its incredible beauty buys.

Another shopper recently showed off a well-stocked beauty aisle full of the likes of Revolution and Real Techniques in her local store. 

TikTok user @amybartholomew97 posted a clip revealing what she could get right now in her nearest branch. 

Picks included the Liquid Highlighter, which usually costs £6 and the Conceal and Define Concealer which usually costs around £5.

She also spotted some Real Techniques bargain buys, with their Satin Finish Extender Spray on sale for just £1.99 – the high-street product usually costs £9.99 in stores.

It seems it’s well worth a trip to Home Bargains if you’re a beauty fan at the moment.
