AS the October school holidays are in full swing, some of us will be getting into the Halloween spirit with our little ones by carving pumpkins.
However, it’s a messy job and one that can take ages to clear up after if you’re not methodical.

Experts at AO have shared their “game-changing” hack for deseeding a pumpkin that will cut the amount of cleaning you have to do in half.
They recommend whisking the inside to loosen the pulp and seeds for easy removal.

"Attach the whisk attachment to your stand mixer or alternatively you can use a hand mixer and slowly feed the open pumpkin under the whisk like you would a bowl.”
If you are using an electric whisk or mixer, set it to a low or medium-low speed to keep the mess contained.
"Turn off the mixer and lift the whisk up to remove the seeds collected by it,” Thea continued.
