Victoria Beckham’s tattoos explained – from the neck tattoo dedicated to David to the roman numerals on her right wrist – The Sun | The Sun

DESPITE Victoria Beckham's husband David being covered in tattoos, many don't know that the Spice Girl has a few inkings herself.

Each of her tats tend to have a deep meaning, but what ones does she have?

What tattoos does Victoria Beckham have?

It's thought that over the years Victoria has had around six tattoos.

However, this isn't the case any more as she's had some removed.

Roman numerals on her right wrist

One of the star's tats in of the numerals “VIII-V-MMVI” tattooed on her, which means May 8, 2006.

This date is significant to Victoria and David as this is when they renewed their wedding vows.

David also has a matching one on his right wrist.

They renewed their wedding vows in front of Buckingham Palace in 2006, and she got the tattoo that same year.

Compared to the pair's huge wedding in 1999 where they tied the knot in an Irish Castle with thrones, their nuptial renewal was a much smaller affair.

The couple's big wedding was featured on their documentary Beckham, which tells the story of David's football career as well as his family life.

The Netflix docuseries has given an insight into the family's life of fame and fortune.

It delves into the highs and lows of the Beckham's lives as well as their move across the pond.

Latin phrase on her right wrist

Just above her roman numerals on her right wrist, Victoria has a tattoo which says “De Integro”, which means “again from the start”.

It's been said the tattoo represents the Beckham family having a new start in America when they moved there in 2007.

They made the move across the pond after David finished his last season with Real Madrid and signed a multi-million dollar, five-year deal to play for football team L.A. Galaxy.

Initials of David on her left wrist

In another tribute to her husband, Victoria got his initials tattooed on her other wrist.

However, it seems this tat is no more and she's decided to get it lasered off.

Hebrew phrase on her left wrist

In a tribute to her 10th wedding anniversary with husband David, Victoria got another tattoo to celebrate their love.

She got the phrase “Together, forever, eternally” written in Hebrew, just above her DB initials tattoo on her left wrist.

The couple celebrated their anniversary in the Maldives and she showed off her new tattoo the following month during a guest appearance on American Idol.

David also got one for the special occasion, in the form of ten roses on his left arm near his elbow.

Hebrew poem down her back

Back in 2006 the Spice Girl got one of her biggest tattoos which was a Hebrew phrase thought to quote the poem Shir Ha’shirim.

It reads “Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim”, which translates to “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”

Stars on her lower back

Victoria's lower back tattoo is made up of five stars to represent her, David and their three boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

It isn’t known if she added another after the birth of daughter Harper Seven in 2011.

Which tattoos is Victoria Beckham removing?

Victoria’s tattooed tribute on her left wrist of her husband's initials has practically gone for good.

The former singer got the tattoo of her husband's initials along with "Together, forever, eternally" in Hebrew to mark their 10th wedding anniversary, but this isn't the first inking in tribute to David that she's had removed.

Victoria also had a Hebrew script reading "I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine" lasered from her back.
