We chose a fruity baby nickname when I was pregnant… we ended up using it for his name & it’s now his whole personality | The Sun

A MUM who chose a fruity nickname for her baby bump ended up using it as the tot's middle name when he was born.

Alannah took to TikTok to share a video of her baby, which began with her holding up a cute blueberry toy.

"When you nickname your foetus ‘blueberry’ and it becomes his middle name," she wrote over the top.

"Well, this is going to be my personality for the rest of my life," a voiceover said in the video, which showed the little boy wearing a cute knitted blueberry hat.

Alannah then clarified in the caption that they'd actually chosen a shorter version of the fruit as his middle name.

"What started as a cute nickname instead of saying 'baby' to the growing foetus quickly escalated into his entire personality and his official middle name, Blue!" she wrote.

To which Alannah replied: "Completely serious!

"His name is Shilo Blue. Blueberry quickly got shortened to Blue when I was 12 weeks pregnant and the name fully stuck."

"Not me thinking his middle name was BLUEBERRY before I read the whole caption," another laughed.
