ESTATE gurus have shared their advice on how to instantly increase the value of your home without forking out a fortune.
When it comes to transforming your property, most of us imagine having to spend thousands upon thousands.
But according to two estate agents, Liz Lovery and Ryan Fisher, it doesn't necessarily have to be the case – and in fact, you're better off spending less.
The two industry gurus, believed to be from the US, took to TikTok to share their tips and tricks, claiming they'll add heaps of value to your home.
''These are all things that we've done in our home renovation,'' Liz noted in the video.
Fresh paint
The industry pros started the clip with painting – not only is this relatively affordable but will also give your property a fresh look with little effort.

''It can also make your house look more clean and well-maintained.''
When it comes to picking the right colour, Ryan advised their 1.1million fans to stick to lighter and more neutral hues.
This is because bright and bold colours can often scare off any potential buyers, he explained.
Update flooring
This is particularly important for what Liz called ''high-traffic areas'', such as the hallway.

A quick designer tip when selecting hardware is to use a combination of latches, pulls and knobs for a more high-end look, Liz said.
