We’re painters and decorators and always get the same boring comments – old blokes and women are the worst | The Sun

THEY'RE a female painting team working out of New Zealand.

And while Carli and Ash's testimonials speak for themselves, the pair frequently face the same kind of comments from other people.

They took to TikTok to reveal the "things people say to us as painters", kicking off with middle aged women who always jokingly ask: "Can you paint my house next?"

Older women also poke fun at the pair's paint-spattered clothes, often commenting: "Do you get any paint on the walls, loves, or just yourselves?"

Ash and Carli surprisingly find that male builders are thrilled to have some female company on site, usually saying something like: "God it’s good to see some ladies around here".

But older men are less supportive about their choice of profession.
