Women are sharing the most annoying things their other halves do with the worst timing and people are in stitches | The Sun

WOMEN are sharing the most annoying things their husbands do just before they jet off on holiday.

They have revealed on social media the most excruciating tasks their other halves decided to do just before going away – and the stories are hilarious.

In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, social media user Steph Douglas shared the hilarious messages she had been sent by some of her 63,000 followers.

One person told her: "We go on holiday today! Without children for a whole week! God bless the grandparents!

"What's my husband doing you ask?…downloading random music to a Dropbox account I've never seen him use."

Another shared: "We're about to go away for a week and my husband decided to go through my son's hundreds of Pokémon cards and organise them into their packs as I sit next to him writing down a list of actual things that need to be done."

We got a plastic pool for the kids but it was ugly – my hubby gave it a glow up

Similarly, a third recalled: "Rushing to get to the airport for a flight to Disneyland Paris…children, cases, passports, STRESS!!

"Husband decides it is the perfect time to sort out his sock drawer."

Steph added: "Absolute classic. A common one."

She also noted that "bathroom maintenance is a common one…"

A fourth social media user wrote: "My husband decided to regrout the bath the evening before our 5.55am flight."

However, one story was the cherry on the cake, with Steph joking: "What needs doing the day before a holiday? Definitely a NINE year old job."

The exasperated woman shared: "My husband started rewiring the day before.

"Put in two new spotlights and the extractor fan!

"I've been waiting nine years for them, they weren't needed the day before we left!!"
