THOSE who use fake tan will know the struggle of achieving the perfect, glowy, sunkissed look.

TikTok user Pippa, known on social media as ‘pippawiththepixie’, took to the video-sharing platform to share her fake tan hack for getting the perfect, glowy tan.

She said: “I’ve got my Garnier Summer Body, it’s already medium dark.

“This is the BPerfect 10 second tan in ultra dark – this is my tan of choice, it is a mousse, however if you unscrew it you can pour it in as a liquid.

“I’m going to mix it, I am using a cotton bud but if you pour it into the bottle, you just need to shake it.

“You can see it’s tinted slightly brown but it’s not really dark.

“Also when it’s in the bottle, I add a little bit of the tan at a time to get it to the right colour.

“If you add too much it’s going to be too dark, but it’s just trial and error really.

“I would say less rather than more to start with so you know how to add to suit you.

“You can always add but once it’s in the bottle you can’t take it away, so add a little bit at a time until it gets to this colour, keep shaking it really thoroughly.”

Once Pippa has mixed the two fake tans together, we see her applying the mixture to her body.

She continued: “I literally just rub it in like a normal moisturiser, with my hands, just make sure you wash them really well after.

“All rubbed in and I’m going to sleep in it, and I’ll show you the results tomorrow.”

Later in the video we see Pippa the next morning and she has a gorgeous sun-kissed glow.

She added: “This is my colour this morning, there’s hardly any transfer onto my pyjamas, I wore white ones.

“I apply every two to three days just depending on how it wears.

“Obviously you can whack it on any time you need to.

“It fades nicer, I exfoliate once a week and then reapply but it’s not anything like normal tan tiger bread.

“I find a gradual lotion easier to apply, this just makes it darker and easier to maintain as you can keep it topped up.

“It’s a game changer, I’m addicted.”

Pippa’s hack has clearly impressed many, as it has 318.1k views, 13.7k likes, 411 comments and 512 shares.
