Aldi shoppers rush to buy £5 iconic designer perfume dupe that normally costs £210 | The Sun

ALDI shoppers have been rushing to buy a £5 dupe for an iconic designer perfume that's worth £210.

The discount supermarket is selling its own version of the popular Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Eau De Parfum for a whopping £205 less.

Aldi's Hotel Collection cost just £4.99 and has two variations – Tobacco & Vanilla and Sandalwood & Jasmine, both 50ml each.

Shoppers across social media have been raving about the perfume dupes, with Aldi itself hailing them a cheaper version of the luxury brand.

A fan shared a video of the Specialbuys to TikTok and was met with hundreds of comments from eager shoppers.

One said: "I got these today they smell like the real thing powerful I don’t know how they get away with it 10/10."

The Tobacco and Vanilla scent is said to have notes of tobacco leaf and spice, with undertones of vanilla, cacao, Tonka bean and tobacco blossom.

While the Sandalwood & Jasmine scent has top notes of caraway and cinnamon accompanied by jasmine, rose, musk and ylang-ylang.

It also has hints of sandalwood, musk and agarwood.

The two scents are said to "smell the exact same" as Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and Jasmine Rouge, which both retail at £210 for 50ml.

So it's no wonder shoppers are keen to get their hands on the same scent for a fraction of the price.

Both perfumes are one of Aldi's coveted Specialbuys which means they won't be around forever and are only available in store.

Each store will have its own stock of the scents and these special items tend to sell-out pretty quickly.

It's always worth phoning ahead to your local store to check how many they have available.

You can find your nearest Aldi store using the tool locator on the website.

It's always worth having a sniff first to make sure you like the smell before purchasing.

As always, make sure to have a shop around before you commit to a purchase to make sure you're always getting the best deal.

We had a shop around and couldn't find an exact dupe for the Tom Fordscents but other retailers have been known to do similar dupes previously.

One shopper has been raving over the £5.99 Zara perfume dupes which are said to include one for another Tom Ford fragrance – Lost Cherry.

Meanwhile, if you're looking for a dupe of another designer brand, shoppers have been rushing to buy this YSL Black Opium dupe from Superdrug.

Also, don't forget to factor in delivery charges when shopping online.
