SHOPPERS across the UK will be poised and ready to go after Aldi slashed the price of a number of its Specialbuy items.

The German supermarket chain has cut prices on dozens of its products from inflatable hot tubs to TVs and tents.

Specialbuys are only on sale for a limited period and so you have to be quick to pick up a bargain.

You can find them online and sometimes in-store, although not always.

One thing to consider is that if you are buying them online, there will be a delivery fee.

The cheapest standard delivery fee will set you back £2.95.

How do the prices compare to other shops?

Even though Aldi is famous for its Specialbuy sales, it's best to shop around for the best deals.

Just because there's a discount on a Specialbuy, that doesn't mean you can't get it cheaper elsewhere.

There are useful websites where you can compare supermarket prices, including Trolley.co.uk.

When we look at other supermarkets this is how some of the prices compared.

Danish Endurance was selling padded cycling shorts for £23, while Decathlon was selling a pair for £9.99.

Meanwhile, Wowcher was selling a pop-up Gazebo for £54.99 and Studio had one for £49.

And The Range had one on sale for £49.99 as well.
