Back where it all began.

Former “GMA3” anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were spotted running the 2023 New York City Half Marathon together on Sunday amid their steamy public affair.

The couple, whose years-long friendship blossomed into a relationship while marathon training last year, were seen pounding in the pavement in Times Square and Central Park during the 13.1 mile race.

However, unlike previous years, the duo’s names weren’t flagged on a list of celebrity runners in advance.

They flew mostly under the radar with Holmes, 45, sporting an all-black ensemble topped with a black beanie and neon green trainers.

Robach, 50, opted for a slightly more colorful look. She paired her bright blue leggings with a white puffer jacket, neon orange trainers, black gloves and a beanie.

Page Six was first to report that the couple could be jetting back to the Big Apple to run the United Airlines NYC half marathon incognito following their romantic Mexico getaway.

A source told us the former co-anchors, who lost their high profile gigs at ABC when their romance came to light, would be among the 25,000 runners.

The race comes one year after Robach boasted to us about getting Holmes into running before the annual half marathon.

“I’m not sure we technically decided to run together,” Robach, the more experienced runner of the pair, said at the time.

“I pretty much announced to everyone that T.J. was going to run the half-marathon with me, and then publicly pressured him to join … and it worked!” she added.

The duo then upped the stakes when they ran the New York City marathon back in November, mere weeks before their love affair became public and sparked one of the biggest scandals in ABC News’ history.

Sources at the time claimed Robach had “saved Holmes on a number of occasions throughout their friendship.”

“He went through a very tough stretch of time, and she gave him things to read, authors to look into, got him into running, and really helped him heal in a lot of ways,” an insider told us.

Earlier this week, Robach quietly finalized her divorce from actor Andrew Shue, with the pair amicably dividing their assets through mediation.

It comes eight months after Robach filed for divorce as she pursued a relationship with her co-worker.

Meanwhile, Holmes is still in the midst of settling his divorce from lawyer Marilee Fiebig, whom he married in 2010. The estranged couple are parents to 10-year-old daughter Sabine.
