Ben Shephard’s huge net worth as he’s ‘revealed as new This Morning host’

Ben Shephard has been a regular on our TV screens for over two decades, having presented a whole host of TV shows including The Xtra Factor, GMTV and Goals on Sunday.

The 49 year old is now best known for being one of the main presenters on Good Morning Britain, as well as hosting Tipping Point and co-hosting Ninja Warrior UK.

Ben boasts a colourful television career and it's unsurprisingly helped him to amass an impressive fortune, with the TV star said to be worth millions. If recent reports are correct, Ben's net worth is now only set to increase after landing a big-money contact to present This Morning.

Ben will allegedly be adding This Morning to his list of permanent presenting gigs in 2024, as it's been claimed he will takeover the ITV show in 2024 following the departure of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

He will team up with Cat Deeley to present the ITV daytime show, with the duo said to have both secured huge deals with ITV, who have been trying to find replacement hosts for months. Ben will reportedly be taking home £550,000 per year for presenting This Morning.

His new gig will add to his already impressive net worth nicely, with the GMB host said to be worth a cool $5 million (£3.6m) according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Ben's glittering TV and radio career has helped to amass such a huge fortune, and there's no doubt his film credits have also added to it.

The 49 year old has actually starred in four films throughout his career. In 2004, he played a carol singer in A Bear's Christmas Tail, and in 2009 he appeared in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as Diagon Alley Father, however his role was uncredited.

Ben was also in the 2017 film The Lego Ninjago Movie and in 2021 he played a newsreader in SAS: Red Notice. Even more surprisingly, he had a guest role in an episode of hit US sitcom Friends, playing a man with a microphone in 2002.

Away from TV, he was once the face of Warburtons lunch thins and has been a judge for the Pride of Britain Awards on several occasions.

Ben has been hosting Good Morning Britain alongside Kate Garraway and Susanna Reid since the ITV show began in 2014 and has become a much-loved face on morning television.
