The festive season has officially arrived, meaning many are in the process of transforming their home with Christmas trees and decorations ahead of 25 December.
Along with opening the first door of their advent calendar on 1 December, many have seen the return of Elf On The Shelf, which has become a festive tradition for many households to add a bit of fun in the lead up to Christmas.
The mischievous elves get up to all sorts every year as they keep a watchful eye on who has been naughty and nice. Celebrities always join in the fun too, with many famous faces sharing their creative ideas for their elf on social media throughout December.

Stacey Solomon is known for her savvy DIY hacks and impressive homeware content on social media, so each year many are eagerly waiting to find out what she's going to come up with for her elf.
The Loose Women panellist, 33, never disappoints and she's already had fans in stitches with what she's done so far this year, having constructed her own elf out of an empty toilet roll and pipe cleaners.
After introducing her elf in Pickle Cottage, she got to work getting creative and soon found her DIY elf having a relaxing spa day in her bathroom sink.
Complete with eye masks, miniature towel and a cocktail, Stacey pulled out all of the stops to complete with elf-friendly spa just days into December.
Another famous face who never fails to impress with her Elf On The Shelf ideas is Rochelle Humes, 33, who has continued to document her ideas over recent years.
Last year, the mum-of-three found her elf wrapped up in between two pieces of toast after he found himself feeling a little bit chilly. A note left alongside the elf read: "It was cold so I got toasty".
TV presenter Emma Willis introduced her elves subtly last year, with each of her three children finding an elf perched on top of their advent calendar on 1 December.
In 2021, her and husband Matt's three kids, Ace, Trixie, and Isabelle, could all be seen opening the first door of their advent calendars while three elves cheekily watched over them.

Like her best pal Stacey, Mrs Hinch is always full of clever ideas for her elf, who has previously appeared in all areas of her home throughout December.
The Instagram influencer, 32, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, is mum to Ronnie, three, and Lennie, one, who she continues to surprise with her creative tricks.
Last year, Sophie's elf was found on the side int he bathroom making 'biscuits' for the boys as he filled the inside of an Oreo with toothpaste. The elf has also been found wrapping things up in cling film and breaking into the chocolate jar previously!
One elf who does get luxury treatment in December is Victoria and David Beckham's, who actually enjoyed a movie night with Posh Spice last year.
"Movie night for Elf and Posh!" the mum-of-four captioned a hilarious snap showing her elf alongside a Posh Spice doll last year, with the pair relaxing in front the Christmas tree together.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan never do things by halves, so it's only right that they pull out all of the stops when it comes to Elf On The Shelf.
In 2021, Kylie Jenner, 25, had her elf arrive in style via hot air balloon, which no doubt impressed her four year old daughter Stormi.
Kylie's older sister Kim, 42, had more creative ideas for her elves as they were taken hostage last year, with each taped up against the wall wearing different costumes.
Kim moved the camera to show several toys on the floor guarding the elves, and a handwritten ransom note nearby.
She jokingly told her followers: "I hid the elves myself last night and woke up this morning with them completely moved and a whole different situation going on. #Dark."
