Brad Pitt made a surprise appearance at the US Formula 1 Grand Prix over the weekend – and was apparently there for business.

The actor, who has been conducting research for his forthcoming Lewis Hamilton-produced Formula 1 film, was practically inescapable in the paddock at the Circuit of the Americas.

Pitt, 58, was seen schmoozing with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, several team bosses and COTA chairman Bobby Epstein, as they discussed filming the movie during real race weekends in 2023.

The “Bullet Train” star, who was joined by “Top Gun: Maverick” producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Joseph Kosinski at the race in Austin, later grabbed lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook, musician Pharrell Williams and Mercedes boss Toto Wolff.

Pitt was a fixture in the paddock by race day on Sunday, where two-time world champion Max Verstappen secured Red Bull Racing the 2022 constructors championship.

“I’ve seen Brad Pitt more than I have my family this weekend,” one Twitter user wrote, following Pitt’s third consecutive day at the track.

Shaquille O’Neal, “Entourage” alum Adrian Grenier, Ed Sheeran and band members from Green Day were also spotted on the starting grid, where drummer Tré Cool told F1 pundit Martin Brundle he was supporting Aston Martin Racing because they were the “green team.”
