Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands joined the Swedish royal family for a glittering concert as they wrapped up the second of their three-day state visit.
The Dutch royals were accompanied by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden for the orchestral performance at the Stockholm Concert Hall on Wednesday night.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden were also in attendance, as were Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia – all of whom posed for a photograph outside the venue with their Dutch counterparts.
The concert came at the end of a long day of visits for Willem-Alexander and Maxima, who were in the second of their three-day state visit to their neighbours in Sweden.

Earlier, they had donned hard hats and high-vis jackets as they toured the headquarters of Stockholm Exergi and the Karolinska Institute Science Park.
But the scene was very different in the evening, when Queen Maxima dressed to impress in a stunning gown, which featured a blue overlay – with a glimpse at the tan-coloured dress beneath.
The dress gave the illusion of a cold-shoulder look, and was accented with a stunning green necklace. The Dutch Queen wore her hair in soft waves for the occasion.

They later travelled to Stockholm’s City Hall, the headquarters of Stockholm Exergi, and the Karolinska Institute Science Park – where the royals donned hard hats and high-vis jackets.
Willem-Alexander and Maxima began their three-day state visit on Tuesday, when the King of the Netherlands piloted their plane to Arlanda Airport, outside the Swedish capital of Stockholm, himself.

The Dutch King co-piloted the government plane to Stockholm’s Arlanda airport for the short flight north to the Scandinavian country
King Carl XVI Gustaf said in a statement: ‘We are honored to receive the King and Queen. ‘Our countries are very similar.
‘For example, in our positions on the rule of law, international relations and human rights. We are going to strengthen ties in defense and security.’
The warmth was reciprocated by the Dutch monarch, Willem-Alexander, who reflected on a strong relationship between the two countries, saying: ‘We realize that Sweden is going through a special time, such as its membership in NATO, which we fully support.
‘Queen Máxima and I are very much looking forward to the visit in the coming days.’
