Finn Wolfhard is showing his support for his “Stranger Things” co-star Noah Schnapp after he came out as gay last month.

“When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know,’” the “Abe” star wrote on the top of the Jan. 5 clip.

Schnapp then mouthed the words of a woman who said, “You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious.”

“I guess I’m more similar to will than I thought,” he captioned the post, referring to his “Stranger Things” character Will Byers.

The actor was met with lots of praise from fans in the comments section of his coming-out video.

“Im so happy For you!!!! 💗💗,” wrote one person, while another added, “Welcome to the fun club✨.”

“this is the most iconic coming out ever,” commented a third fan.

“THE WAY I GASPED. SO PROUD OF YOU <3,” wrote a fourth person.

The first season of “Stranger Things” premiered on Netflix in 2016, when Wolfhard and Schnapp were 13 and 11 years old, respectively. Filming for the fifth and final season of the supernatural thriller is expected to begin this May.
