Archduke Ferdinand von Habsburg, anyone? Princess Vittoria of Savoy?

Most European nations might have abolished their monarchies, it’s true, but there’s no shortage of grand dukes, princes, princesses and otherwise regal personages – some of them very eligible indeed…

Archduke Ferdinand von Habsburg, 26, is the heir apparent to the House of Habsburg – the great dynasty that once dominated central Europe.

Ferdinand is the son of Karl von Habsburg and Francesca von Habsburg.

His paternal grandparents were Otto von Habsburg, the last crown prince of Austria-Hungary, and Princess Regina of Saxe-Meiningen.

He is informally styled as His Imperial and Royal Highness and titled as an Archduke of Austria and Royal Prince of Hungary and Bohemia.

It should be said, though, that Austria is a republic – with all royal titles having been legally abolished in 1918.

At just 26 years old, he is an accomplished motor racing driver who is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series.

His brother-in-law is also a racing driver. Jerome d’Ambrosio married Ferdinand’s sister Eleonore in the middle of lockdown in Austria in 2020.

The Archduke regularly posts pictures of his fast-lane lifestyle on Instagram along with holiday photos of camping in the mountains and surfing.

Princess Talita von Fürstenberg

Socialite Talita von Furstenberg, 23, is the eldest daughter of interior designer Alexandra (née Miller) and her ex-husband Prince Alexander von Furstenberg

Her royal heritage comes from her grandfather, German aristocrat Prince Egon. She is pictured here in Los Angeles

Socialite Talita von Furstenberg, 23, is the eldest daughter of interior designer Alexandra (née Miller) and her ex-husband Prince Alexander von Furstenberg

Alexander is, in turn, the son of famous designer Diane von Furstenberg and her ex-husband German aristocrat Prince Egon von Fürstenberg. Prince Egon was married to Diane for 14 years.

The House of Fürstenberg is an old and influential noble family  from part of the Holy Roman Empire known as Swabia, pat of today’s Baden-Wurttemberg in south west Germany.

Talia’s mother is the sister of Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece.

Talita grew up in Los Angeles before moving to the East Coast in 2017 to attend Georgetown University with her cousin, fellow royal Prince Alexios of Greece.

But she later transferred to New York University to study fashion business and marketing.

Talita remains particularly close to her royal cousin Princess Olympia of Greece with the pair frequently jetting off together.

Talita (pictured at the Met Gala in 2021) previously revealed how she avoided using her royal title growing up in LA because she didn’t want people to ‘freak out’ when they met her

But despite her royal association, Talita previously revealed how she avoided using her title growing up in the US because she didn’t want people to ‘freak out’ when they met her.

In recent years, has been seen gracing the front rows of fashion shows and society parties including us being a frequent face at the Met Gala in New York.

Her social movements are reminiscent of her mother Alexandra, who was a firm fixture on the Nineties New York social scene along with her sisters Pia Getty and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece.

Between lavish getaways and social events, Talita has sbeen finding time to make a name for herself in the fashion world.

Grandmother Diane, now 76, previously called Talita her ‘muse’ and the rising style star is now following in the designer’s footsteps.

Having inherited her grandmother’s passion for design, she is being groomed to take over the Diane von Furstenberg business in due course.

Talita has recently unveiled her own clothing ranges, explaining she doesn’t discuss her design ideas with her famous grandmother, Diane.

‘We try to be separate when I’m designing, just because I obviously value her opinion so much, but she designs for an older client and has a different taste to me, and I would hate for her opinion to alter the shape of the collection because ultimately the collection is supposed to reflect my more youthful taste,’ she has previously told FEMAIL.

Talita has since been named co-chairwoman of the fashion brand as part of the company’s restructuring over the past few years, while Gabby Hirata was brought on as DVF’s new president and CEO.

Padmanabh ‘Pacho’ Singh, 25, who is worth an estimated £500-£650 million, was crowned as the unofficial Maharajah of Jaipur in 2011, and is a member of the former ruling family of Jaipur State, in present-day Rajasthan, India.

Although his title is not officially recogised by law because India is a federal parliamentary democratic republic, the title is still highly respected.

It was bestowed when his grandfather died, skipping his mother due to her gender, and his father – a former household staff member – because he had no royal blood.

He also has royal links overseas in the UK – his godfather, King Charles, who he sees around once a year. His grandfather befriended Charles after his first visit to India in 1975, sharing a passion for polo, and the royal families remain friends to this day.

Like his grandfather, Bhawani Sing, Padmanabh, is an accomplished polo player and the youngest ever member of a World Cup polo team in 2017 and the youngest winner of the Indian Open Polo Cup.

He has also played polo alongside Prince Harry and Prince William, whom he regards as friends.

Pacho, who was named in Tatler’s most eligible bachelor’s list in 2019, has strong connections to the UK, having attended Millfield School in Somerset and playing polo here.

He studied liberal arts at New York University in New York. He has also since modelled for Dolce & Gabbana.

In September 2018 he moved to Rome to study art, telling the Week magazine: ‘I lost my heart to Italy; it is the most beautiful country in the world. With its old buildings and grand architecture, it always feels like home.’

He hit headlines after becoming the first royal to become a host on Airbnb in 2019.

The Gudliya Suite in the 300-year-old City Palace of Jaipur, home to Jaipur’s Royal Family, is available to rent for the special introductory rate of $1,000 per night.

Eight years on and now a mother-of-two, Beatrice is still impressing wherever she goes, with Tatler saying she: ‘cuts an elegant figure everywhere she goes – whether it’s a red carpet, a royal appearance or simply yacht-hopping – with her equally chic sister-in-law Charlotte Casiraghi making for the perfect fashion partner-in-crime’.

He offers his 43,000 Instagram followers a glimpse into his jet-setting, lavish life, posting snaps from his trips

Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece is the son of Marie-Chantal and father Pavlos, the Crown Prince and Princess of Greece.

He attended New York University after his family moved to America when he was a teenager.

The 23-year-old has largely grown up away from the spotlight but is now a fledgling actor, appearing in US soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful alongside his aunt Princess Theodora.

He offers his 43,000 Instagram followers a glimpse into his jet-setting, lavish life, posting snaps from his trips around the world with his group of friends – which includes Princess Beatrice.

And he’s certainly amassed a legion of adoring female fans, with many commenting on his pictures and having a particular appreciation for his chiselled jaw.

He is the third of Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos’ five children and was born in New York where his parents were then based, but they relocated to London in 2004 for their children’s education.

Achileas is technically royal in name only because Greece voted in favour of a republic in 1974 while his grandfather Constantine was on the throne.

Prince Albert Von Thurn Und Taxis

Prince Albert has been head of the princely Thurn und Taxis dynasty since 1990

He’s probably the richest royal you’ve never heard of but with an estimated $1.6billion fortune, Albert, 12th Prince of Thurn und Taxis, 40, is no slouch in the wealth department.

Prince Albert has been head of the princely Thurn und Taxis dynasty since his father Johannes’ early death in 1990.

Placed in control of the family fortune aged 21, Albert’s holdings include family seat Schloss Emmeram, a vast art collection, a technology company and 30,000 hectares of German woodland.

Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in economics and theology, Albert has devoted himself to life as a racing driver and competes in the German GT Championship ADAC GT Masters.

Prince Wenceslas is the son of private banker Prince Philipp of Liechtenstein and nephew of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam II

As a member of a historic royal house with a glittering career in finance and invites to star-studded events, Prince Wenceslas of Liechtenstein has plenty to offer a potential partner – yet the 49-year-old has struggled to find ‘the one’.

Wenceslas, son of private banker Prince Philipp of Liechtenstein and nephew of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam II, has never married or had children, unlike his equally dashing brothers Alexander and Rudolf.

The London-based royal’s last public relationship was almost 20 years ago, when he dated stunning Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, now 42, for three years.

The romance landed the young couple on New York’s society pages and led to the royal being nicknamed ‘Prince Wence’ by the tabloid press.

In the decades since, he has been snapped with a string of glamorous women, including Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin, 28, and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tom Cruise and Princess Victoria of Sweden at glitzy galas.

Last October, he enjoyed an outing with yet another beautiful blonde in London – but it seems lasting love remains elusive.

Founded more than 300 years ago, the Princely House of Liechtenstein gives its name to the tiny European nation.

All living members are descendants of its founder, Prince Johann I, who was granted admission to the Confederation of the Rhine in 1806 by Napoleon, in a move that laid the foundation for sovereignty.

The issue of sovereignty remains important to the nation, which has a population of just 38,137 and measures just 15 miles from east to west.

Although he doesn’t appear to have a public social media account, fans of the royal’s can often spot him joining his mother, Isabel, Duchess of Braganza, or his younger sister, the Duchess of Coimbra at events.

Victoria de Marichalar Y Borbon

Dubbed a new ‘It girl’ by Tatler, 22-year-old Victoria de Marichalar y Borbón is fifth in line to the Spanish throne

She is the only daughter and younger child of King Felipe’s older sister Infanta Elena and her ex-husband Jaime de Marichalar

Dubbed a new ‘It girl’ by Tatler, 22-year-old Victoria de Marichalar y Borbón is fifth in line to the Spanish throne and is the extremely glamorous niece of King Felipe of Spain.

She is the only daughter and younger child of King Felipe’s older sister Infanta Elena, 58, and her ex-husband Jaime de Marichalar, 58.

As a teenager, she reportedly attended boarding school in Sussex before enrolling at the College for International Studies (CIS) in Madrid, where she studied business administration and management.

Now she’s eyeing up a career in fashion and her impeccable connections that secured her an invite to the Dior show at last year’s Paris Fashion Week, where she posed up a storm with Rihanna, are bound to help.

Her father, Jaime de Marichalar works as an advisor at the LVMH group in Spain and has access to all established brands like Loewe as well as the upcoming designers making waves in the Mediterranean.

Meanwhile, she’s been busy documenting her jet-set life on Instagram where she’s racked up 252,000 followers, and has appeared on the covers of magazines such as !Hola! and Elle Spain.

In an interview, with the latter Victoria defended her grandfather, former Spanish King Juan Carlos, who has been living in Abu Dhabi since summer 2020 after becoming the target of several probes in Spain over his financial dealings.

Victoria said she has always admired her grandfather and sees him as a second father, keeping in regular contact despite the distance between them.

‘I have always seen him as a dedicated man and I hope that all the work and effort that he has made throughout his life is recognised and esteemed,’ she said.

The royal said the former king is a big source of inspiration for her and that one of her tattoos was modelled on the last boat he sailed on before he left the country in disgrace.

She added that Juan Carlos taught her to be herself ‘in everything that I do’, adding that she’s very close to her grandmother Queen Sofia too.

Victoria, who described herself as a practising Catholic, said she can tell when people approach her under false pretences, and that she has learned to trust a close-knit network of friends.

She is also a big fan of bullfighting, often seen at the Last Ventas bullring in the Spanish capital.

Many royal fans have been quick to point out the similarities in style between Victoria and her fashionable aunt Queen Letizia and has been spotted in the monarch’s favourite designer, Lorenzo Caprile, on the red carpet.

Victoria has been dating DJ Jorge Bárcenas since 2019, after meeting at the Starlite festival in Marbella, and the pair live together in an apartment on Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid.

Camille Gottlieb

Camille enjoys the limelight – with most of her social media posts show her waltzing around Monaco

She is the granddaughter of Grace Kelly and so undoubtedly enjoys a glamorous lifestyle, even being dubbed her grandmother’s lookalike by royal fans.

Camille Gottlieb is the daughter of Princess Stephanie of Monaco who is the younger sister of reigning Prince Albert of Monaco.

The 25-year-old’s father is her mother’s former head of security Jean Raymond Gottlieb.

But while the socialite shares her father’s surname, it did not appear on the birth certificate and Princess Stephanie has never confirmed that this the case.

Camille, therefore, is not in the line of succession because Stephanie and Gottlieb never got married. Stephanie also has two other children, Louis, 29, and Pauline, 28, whom she shares with her first husband, bodyguard Daniel Ducruet.

Either way, Camille still enjoys the limelight – with most of her social media posts show her waltzing around Monaco.

Camille Gottlieb celebrated her 24th birthday with a pink cowboy themed party and shared the fun-filled photos on Instagram. Pictured, Camille (left) poses with a friend

She is also accompanied by a five-year-old Romanian rescue dog called Leonie Jolie, who has her own Instagram account.

When she is not travelling, Camille is a keen philanthropist, setting up a drink-drive aware non-profit called BE SAFE Monaco with high school pals after losing a friend in a car crash, as well as being on the board of directors of the Monegasque Red Cross.

She said that from the age of five she was accompanying her mother to ‘Christmas parties for disabled children or the elderly’.

‘I was literally imbued with mutual aid values. Ever since I was old enough to understand, I was told about the fight against HIV,’ she told Hello Monaco.

In the same interview she spoke about her interest in film and photography and said that we will see her on screen soon after being cast for a role in a series.

When Camille was three years old, Stephanie began a relationship with married elephant trainer Franco Knie.

The Princess, along with her three children, ended up moving into his circus caravan, but the relationship ended the following year, with the family moving back to Monaco.
