No matter how loved up you are, a tattoo of your ex’s name is always inadvisable.
And now, to help those who have ink regret, Tinder and tattoo shop Sixty Ink have joined forces to launch Ink Twice, offering singles a chance to cover up any tattoos associated with old flames.
For a limited time only, Claudio Traina, Suze Canham and Dominga Longo from Sixty Ink will be hard at work, making cover-up dreams come true totally free of charge.
This scheme is only running from 11 to 13 October in London, so if you want to get involved you should probably move fast.
You can apply for a consultation directly through the dating app’s Ink Twice website.
Tinder’s research has shown that almost half (48%) of young singles have tattoos they regret because it reminds them of a relationship they’re no longer in.
So it makes sense that 40% of them have looked into getting their body art changed.
Claudio Traina, owner and lead tattoo artist at Sixty Ink, said: ‘If you’ve ever had a tattoo that made you cringe, we feel you! We’ve seen many couples come into our salon to get matching tattoos with their significant other only to break up.
‘That’s why we’re pleased to announce that we’re partnering with Tinder to encourage people to “Ink Twice” about their next tatt.
‘We’re offering to turn those tattoos of your ex’s name into artwork with a new meaning, as it’s all about rocking that fresh ink and getting back out there to date with confidence.
‘So let’s cover up the past and start a new inked-up chapter in your dating journey.’
