Time to mullet over.

Halsey took to Instagram Wednesday to show off their new shaggy, bleached-blond hairstyle, along with an equally dramatic beauty look.

“return of my mullet,” the “Without Me” singer — who uses she/they pronouns — captioned a clip of their rocker-worthy ‘do, which was appropriately set to Sleater-Kinney’s song “I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone.”

Tagging their About-Face makeup brand, Halsey also wrote that their “nineties-vibes-only red and blue makeup combo” was “made by color mixing eye paints and lip paints” from the line.

The star’s friends and followers couldn’t get enough of their edgy cut, with one commenting, “a 90s rockstar moment” and another writing, “Can’t believe halsey created the mullet.

The look also earned Halsey comparisons to Linda Evangelista, Pamela Anderson and Miley Cyrus in the comments.

Celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger spoke to Page Six Style about Cyrus’ “modern mullet” in 2020, telling us, “It’s fashion, it’s cutting edge and Miley has made it her own. She’s never going to do what everyone else does; she’s going to set trends.”

Rihanna, Billie Eilish and Demi Lovato are among the other stars who’s experimented with the short-in-front, long-in-back cut in recent years.

As for Halsey, they’ve seemingly test-driven every hairstyle imaginable since skyrocketing to fame with long blue locks in 2014.

The New Jersey native has rocked a shaved head, a tie-dyed buzzcut, a pixie cut and braids over the years, in addition to their own natural curls.

They first tried out a mullet in 2019, calling the polarizing style “a girl’s best friend.”
