Nobody does a hair transformation quite like Jennifer Lopez, and her latest one might just be our favourite to-date. Why? The singer seems to take inspiration from a My Little Pony doll for a mesmerising multi-coloured look.
Showing off the new hair on her Instagram Stories, JLo, 53, looks almost unrecognisable with a pink, purple and blue ombré colour. She captions the snap “#2YearsOfInTheMorning” – the name of a song she released back in 2020.
If the bright hair isn’t quite enough, JLo certainly ticks all of the colour boxes with her eyeshadow, which sees her swap her usual smoky brown shades for a matching purple and pink chrome effect.
We can only assume that this bold hair is the result of a wig, as JLo is still posting snaps of her usual mid-bronde on her Instagram grid. Either way, we’ve loved seeing the singer with such a different style, even if it’s for one night only.
The mum-of-two has also treated us to plenty of other hair changes in recent weeks, so it’s been quite the job keeping up with JLo’s looks. Last week we reported on the star’s new butterfly cut, which she first showed off in a new promo video for her upcoming movie Shotgun Wedding. It’s clear her long lengths had been given extra body with the help of some clever butterfly layering, and the result was plenty of volume at the roots and sleeker ends.
Before the butterfly cut, JLo tried out an old Hollywood glam bob – again, for one night only. This look, however, did make the main grid, and fans were quick to tell the star how amazing she looked with shorter hair.
“Old Hollywood glamour making a comeback! Yes girl!! It looks gorgeous!” said one enthusiastic follower.
Another wrote: “The elegant trim highlights incredible facial contours! This is why Jennifer Lopez Affleck is known as the most beautiful woman ever,” while a third added: “The new haircut gives her that extra softness and glow.”
Pink hair, purple hair, long hair or short hair, one thing we do know for sure is that JLo can nail them all.
