In the clip, which has so far been viewed more than 1.2 million times, the realtor gives a tour of the space and how it connects to the rest of the building.

The unnamed man begins: ‘They found a corner in this lobby that was not being used and they made it into an apartment.’

Panning round the area, he points out the elevator and the laundry room before entering a room tucked round the corner.

He enters the apartment and continues: ‘This was just unused space on the first floor so they renovated it.

‘It was not originally built as an apartment.’

The agent then mentions a series of highlights that include the kitchen complete with dishwasher, tall ceilings and a ‘pretty nice bathroom.’

He finishes the tour in the ‘small bedroom’ before revealing that the whole unit costs $2,300-a-month.

And viewers were quick to rush to the comments to share their disgust at the unconventional offering.
