Love Islands Anna-Mays transformation as she reveals procedures shes had

Love Island's 2023 winter series has officially kicked off with a whole new host of singletons entering the iconic villa in the hope of finding a romantic connection.

Maya Jama is making her debut as host of the ITV2 dating show, as she's taken over from former presenter Laura Whitmore, and the winter series is taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, with a recently-refurbished villa.

Among those looking for love is Anna-May Robey, 20, who is a payroll administrator from Swansea, hoping to find her perfect match.

In preparation for her Love Island stint, Anna-May has undergone a huge makeover to ensure she looks her best at all times while in South Africa.

The 20 year old revealed that she has had lip filler and also recently underwent breast enhancement surgery, after feeling insecure about her chest.

Speaking to press, including OK!, ahead the winter Love Island launch, Anna-May said: "I've had a little bit of lip filler, it's not really something I was insecure about before, I just did it to just enhance maybe when I was wearing lipstick, it's nice to go on."

Detailing the reasons behind her decision to have a boob job, she added: "I did have a boob job a couple of months ago, but those things they're not really things I feel like anyone would need to get done. I, well, not so much my lips, but my boobs, I just had them done for confidence reasons."

"But I wouldn't expect anyone to go get it done, obviously, it's something that was talked about for a long time before getting it done. It wasn't just spare of the moment thing.

"And obviously if anyone wants to get it done and wanted to speak to me, then I'd say you know, really think about it first, it's not going to change your life and it's not gonna make you, you know, a million percent happier," she continued.

"But obviously if it's going to boost your confidence and make you feel better about yourself, then get them done, but if not it's not something that needs to be done. I wouldn't tell people to get it done either."

Anna-May describes herself as "energetic" and a "chatter box", and is hoping to find herself a boyfriend in the villa who can make her laugh.

Ahead of her entrance, she said: "I want a boyfriend, I want to find someone who makes me laugh. I’ve been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, ‘You need to find a boyfriend.’ I’m just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone."
