Luke Bryan blamed his “humor and sarcasm” while apologizing for a bizarre onstage rant about fellow country singer Dustin Lynch.

“Dustin Lynch is one of my dearest friends on the planet,” the “American Idol” judge, 46, said in a video on his Instagram Story while “doin’ a little duck hunting” in a “flooded cornfield” on Thursday.

“No one respects him more than I do,” Bryan insisted, “and that night at [music festival Crash My] Playa … my introduction of him was complete sarcasm. Those words that I used were so absurd, I figured everybody would take it as sarcasm.”

That said, the “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” crooner acknowledged that “obviously some people” were offended by his joke about Lynch drinking, using drugs and taking STD tests.

“I spoke to Dustin. I love him. He and I are all good,” Bryan shared. “And I apologize to anybody that doesn’t understand my humor and sarcasm.”

The “One Margarita” performer concluded the video by telling his 6.3 million Instagram followers to listen to his pal’s new single, “Stars Like Confetti.”

Lynch, 37, also confirmed there is no bad blood between him and Bryan, writing on his Instagram Story, “Thx for the call, love ya bro ❤️. All good.”

The “Thinking ‘Bout You” singer added that he “had a lot of fun” performing at the festival in Mexico on Saturday and Sunday.

Bryan upset several TikTok users earlier this week when a viral concert video showed him poking fun at Lynch, who has been a staple on the Crash My Playa lineup for years.

“No one has drank more liquor, no one has vomited more, no one has taken more drugs, no one has taken more IVs, no one has passed more STD tests than this next gentleman,” the “Drink a Beer” singer told attendees before his friend took the stage.

Multiple fans commented that Bryan’s tirade was “uncalled for,” while another wrote that they were “beyond disappointed in what Luke said.”
